NewStar Launches Two New Spinach Blends
Salinas, California, September 12, 2003 - NewStar, a Salinas-based grower, shipper and processor of fresh produce today announced the launch of two new spinach blends. Each of the new blends leverages NewStar's industry leadership in spinach, while addressing consumer preferences for more choices in healthy, flavorful value-added salad products. Both feature NewStar's premium quality baby spinach.
The first blend combines Baby Spinach and Red Leaf with Frisée, while the second combines Baby Spinach and Romaine with Radicchio. Both blends balance color and flavor to offer consumers a fresh alternative to traditional lettuce salad blends, and come in 6-ounce packages. Both are presented in newly designed packaging, creating a stronger branded presence for NewStar on the supermarket shelf.
